Shrink the sleeve by cooling it to -40F and insert it in the lifter bore, making sure that the bottom of the sleeve is flush with the camshaft cavity. Drill a 7/16" hole through the oil gallery and finish the sleeve ID to 0.8432"/0.8442". The sleeve can also be predrilled with a 1/2" oil hole before installing it in the block. |
