When the Grand Prix was redesigned in 2004, the GTP model received a new version of the powerful and revered 3800 V-6 supercharged engine. This Series III version included a host of refinements and a new, fifth-generation
supercharger that helped boost horsepower to 260. It’s now available directly from GM Performance Parts in a convenient crate engine package.
Delivered with the supercharger installed, this brandnew assembled crate engine makes a great alternative to salvage and rebuilt engines. Its relatively compact size makes it a great candidate for street rods and kit-assembled vehicles, too.
